An update regarding Thinkstock.com


We wanted to let you know that we are retiring Thinkstock.com in 2019 and taking steps to transition Thinkstock customers over to Getty Images and iStock.

Why is Thinkstock retiring?
Getty Images is retiring Thinkstock.com to make way for a newer and overall improved experience for Thinkstock customers on Getty Images and iStock.

This move connects our customers to the great content across Thinkstock, iStock, and Getty Images and provides them with advanced features and tools they currently don't have access to.

When will Thinkstock be retiring?
Thinkstock will officially wind down in mid 2019, however, we will begin to move customers from Thinkstock to our other sites in 2018.

What will happen to Thinkstock customers?
Thinkstock customers seeking new image subscriptions or flexible plans can check out iStock. Customers who have previously had annual subscriptions, have high volume needs or multi seat products will be offered comparable products on Getty Images.

Why would customers want to transition?
In addition to gaining access to the great content on gettyimages.com and istock.com, Thinkstock customers will be able to retain access to their previous downloads and will have access to better tools such as plugins and extensions for programs like Adobe® Creative Cloud® or WordPress.

Customers moving to Getty Images will retain their existing lightboxes. Additionally, gettyimages.com and istock.com have more advanced on site tools to help customers work faster including intuitive search and filters, bigger images in the search grid, ability to search by image, download multiple images, and a better mobile experience.

What will happen to my content?
Although your content will no longer be available on Thinkstock, all non exclusive iStock content is already available to specific subscription customers on gettyimages.com. Thinkstock annual subscribers will be offered a product that is made up of the same content that is currently available on Thinkstock, including the same iStock Essentials imagery. We will continue to send new non-exclusive iStock content to Thinkstock until late 2018.

How will my royalties be calculated?
Once customers are transitioned to Getty Images or iStock, royalties will be calculated the same way your Getty Images or iStock royalties are calculated. Please refer to the iStock Rate Card.

Zika je ne comprends pas ton commentaire. Pour être sur Thinkstock il faut d'abord être sur Istock. Donc si Thinkstock disparait, tes fichiers sont déjà sur Istock donc rien à ré-uploader.
Ou bien je n'ai pas suivi quelque chose?

ah! alors j'avais mal compris,
ne faisant pas partie de ces sites, j'ai cru que le site qui fermait était racheté et que les contributeurs devaient se débrouiller avec cà
c'est vrai que tout ce que je lis en ce moment est tellement négatif à l'égard des microstocks
certains se plaignent de malhonneteté, d'autres en sont esclaves
on est loin de la vision idillyque des revenus passifs
